Hola! My name is Janet and I am a Midland Texas photographer. Read on and get to know a little about me and what has lead me to this stage in my life.

A Little About Me

I wear many hats. I am a dialysis technician, former phlebotomist, wife, mom of way too many dogs, and a photographer in Midland Texas.

I have been working in the medical field for many years now, and although I find great meaning in my job, my passion is photography.

The Medical Field

My medical career began over 5 years ago when I took a job as a phlebotomist after the completion of a college course. After a few years of understandably terrifying patients, I transitioned into a job as a dialysis technician.

The move was somewhat emotional, as my dad had been diagnosed with kidney failure the year before. I felt almost compelled to to work with dialysis patients.

And then there was Photography

Fast forward to 2020, the year of the COVID. In quarantine with he rest of the world, I began practicing my long lost hobby... photography.

I rekindled a passion I had lost amongst long work hours and hardcore adulting. I remember looking back at old photos I had taken, and began to see why I loved photography so much. The photos I had taken the year prior to my dad's diagnosis made me realize the importance of capturing the special moments in life.

Started in Phlebotomy, Now I'm Here

I still love being a dialysis technician and a phlebotomist, but I can't quiet the voice in my head telling me to go for it. Be a photographer. Spend all your money on gear and don't tell your husband.

I am so excited to begin this chapter in my life and to share my passion with others. My goal is to make my clients feel unique and special by giving them the best service and session experience I possibly can.

I have a passion for engagement, family, senior, and couple photography. But maybe you just turned the big three-O and want a custom birthday/cake smash shoot.

Or maybe you just primped put your ride and want to capture the awesomeness.
