I was lucky enough to take a bump-to-baby photography class with the amazing Kimberly Cowan Photography. It was such a wonderful experience! The class covered everything from newborn wrapping and posing to maternity photography.
Since the beginning of this year, Kim has been mentoring me, showing me the ropes of newborn and maternity photography. Her teachings have been so helpful and have defiantly given me a boost in my #newborn and #maternity photography skills.
During the class, Kim showed us so many adorable poses for newborns and gave us really helpful tips on how to customize them for each baby. We learned all about the basics of wrapping techniques, how to use props, correct camera angles, and even some more advanced positions like the froggy pose. Plus, we got some great advice on how to make sure the babies are safe and comfy while we're taking their pictures.
We had the pleasure of working with a lovely mother-to-be named. Kim shared her knowledge about lighting techniques for capturing beautiful photos and how to pose moms so they look their best. She also gave us some great tips on how to ensure that expecting moms are comfortable during their photo sessions.
I had such a wonderful experience at the bump-to-baby photography class! I learned so much about taking beautiful photos of newborns and expecting mothers, and I can't wait to use my new skills to capture amazing images for my clients.
Although I have worked with newborns and maternity clients before, I'm always eager to learn and improve my skills! Taking classes like this one is a great way for me to gain new techniques and different perspectives. I truly believe that as a photographer, it's important to keep learning throughout your entire career so that you can always deliver the best images possible to your clients.
